Home Inspection in Michigan

The house inspection will cover:

Lot and landscaping - lot slope, storm water drainage, and vegetation.

Exterior structures - porch, deck, patio, balcony, terrace.

House exterior - siding, roof, eaves, gutters. The garage is always included whether attached or detached.

House structure - foundation, framing, floors, roof structure are inspected in all visible areas.

Electrical - exterior power supply, service panel, branch wiring, power receptacles, lighting.

Plumbing - water source, water pipes, bath tubs, faucets, lavatories, sink, water heater, drain pipes.

HVAC - furnace, heating ducts, air filter, registers, returns, AC compressor, and fireplaces.

Basement and attic - basements and attics are always inspected, including crawl spaces.

Interior - floors, walls, ceilings, hallways, stairs, doors, windows, and skylights.

Interior rooms - kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, and any other room present.

Luxury items - such as whirlpool tubs, hot tubs, saunas are inspected only upon request.

Annexes - like shed, barn, swimming pool, or others are inspected only upon request.
